       The damage caused by sunlight and moisture in nature to materials causes inestimable economic losses every year. This equipment can reproduce the damage caused by sunlight, rain and dew. The equipment conducts the test by exposing the material to be tested in a controlled interactive cycle of sunlight and moisture while increasing the temperature. The equipment uses ultraviolet fluorescent lamps to simulate sunlight, and can also simulate the influence of moisture through condensation or spraying.


Reference standards
       This UV accelerated weathering tester is suitable for performance reliability tests of various industrial products. It is designed and manufactured in accordance with GB/T14522-93 "National Standard of the People's Republic of China - Plastics, coatings, and rubber materials for mechanical industrial products - Artificial climate accelerated test methods", GB/T16585-1996 GB/T16422.1-2006 "National Standard of the People's Republic of China - Artificial weathering aging (fluorescent ultraviolet lamp) test methods for vulcanized rubber" and GB/T16422.3-1997 "Plastic laboratory light source exposure test method" and other corresponding standard clauses;
        Reference test standards:ASTM D4329,D499,D4587,D5208,G154,G53;ISO 4892-3,ISO 11507;EN 534;prEN 1062-4,BS 2782;JIS D0205;SAE J2020 and all other current UV aging test standards.


Light source:
        The light source uses 8 UV fluorescent lamps with a rated power of 40W (American brand Q-LAB) as the light source. The UV fluorescent lamp tubes are distributed on both sides of the machine. There are 8 UVA light sources in total;
        The UV-A wavelength range is 280-340nm, and the luminous spectrum energy of the lamp is mainly concentrated at a wavelength of 340 nm;
        The UV-B wavelength range is 280-315nm, and the luminous spectrum energy of the lamp is mainly concentrated at a wavelength of 313 nm.
         Since the energy output of UV light will gradually decay over time, in order to reduce the impact of light energy decay on the test, this test chamber replaces an old lamp with a new one every 1/4 of the life of the fluorescent lamp (lamp life: 4000H Q-LAB lamp) in the eight lamps. The position change is shown in the figure below. In this way, the UV light source is always composed of new and old lamps, so as to obtain a constant light energy output;
